These are digital "books" consisting of a 24-page .pdf document.  You can read and print them with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't already have the reader, you can get it here.  We also have a few of these printed up and bound with GBC plastic comb binding.  Drop me an email at dbouska@bellsouth.net if you want one of these.

After completing the purchase you will receive an email with the pdf files attached. This will be a separate email from the payment confirmation email from PayPal.  It will be from Roland White and Diane Bouska.  (The email may be instant, or may take up a few minutes to arrive, by some reports.  If you have to wait a few minutes, make yourself a nice cup of Japanese green tea with some fresh ginger slices!)
If your files don't arrive shortly after you purchase them, or if you need other assistance, email dbouska@bellsouth.net or call 1-800-304-3588.

(Note: printing from the pdf file will look sharper than the images on this web page.)

Songs: Jingle Bells in G and C, We Three Kings in Dm and Am, Deck the Halls in E and G, What Child Is This? in Em and Gm, It Came Upon The Midnight Clear in G and D, We Wish You a Merry Christmas in G and D, Silent Night in A and E, Joy to the World in D and G, Silver Bells in A and E, O Little Town Of Bethlehem in D and G

More description: these settings have lots of two-finger chords for mandolin, with open strings. You can play several of these tunes with only two fingers and they sound great too--the open ringing sound of the mandolin is wonderful for Christmas songs!  There are also some three-finger chords that you should learn, and the neat thing is you don't have to move much to change between most of these chords.  Players of all levels will learn a few new chord moves.  Nowhere is there a "stretch" chord. The greatest reach in these chords is four frets. You can back up these songs nicely without ever having to stretch your pinky to the far side of the fretboard.

Guitar chords, also clearly diagrammed with fingering indications,  are provided for the same songs in  the same keys in the same order as the mandolin chord book--so it should be easy to convince your spouse or roommate to play along with you!  Guitar chords are in a separate pdf document.

Note: this collection does NOT contain melodies or tablature.  See Roland White's Mandolin Christmas book/CD set for a more complete package with melodies and chords. Also see: It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
